About Us
We are a nursing home in Lambeth, offering care to older people and to younger adults whose health needs mean a qualified nurse should be on hand at any hour of the day or night. Alongside permanent places we also welcome people for respite stays, whether that is booked well ahead so a family carer can take a proper break, or arranged at shorter notice when someone needs a period of recovery after illness or a stay in hospital.
Nursing care reads as something clinical when it is written down, but most of what happens here is ordinary life carried on with the right support behind it. We take time to learn how somebody likes their day to run, what they want to keep doing for themselves, who matters to them and how they prefer to be helped when they need it. Those details shape the care plan far more than any template does, and we revisit them as things change.
We should be straightforward about where we stand with the regulator. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement, and we would rather say so plainly than leave families to discover it elsewhere. We are working through the points raised with us and we are happy to talk about that work in detail with anyone who asks.
Families are welcome here and we would always encourage you to come and see the place for yourself. If you are weighing up nursing care in this part of London, do get in touch and we will give you an honest picture of what we can offer.
