About Us
Aden Court Care Home is a nursing home in Huddersfield. We care for adults who need registered nursing on hand at any time, including older people whose health has become too complex to manage at home and younger adults with nursing needs. We also take respite admissions, either as a planned break for a family who has been caring at home or as a settled place for someone to recover after illness or a hospital stay.
The nursing side of our work is about consistency. Skin care, pain, nutrition, mobility and medication attended to and reviewed properly, and working closely with GPs, district nurses and hospital teams so that nothing falls between them. Around that, this is where people live, so mealtimes are unhurried, days have a recognisable shape, and people choose company or quiet as they prefer.
We owe you honesty about inspection. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We are not going to soften that or bury it. If you are considering Aden Court for someone close to you, ask us directly what the inspectors found, what we have changed since and how we are satisfying ourselves that the changes have held. Come and look round without booking if you would rather see the home as it really is on a Tuesday afternoon. Families and social workers are welcome to keep asking those questions long after someone has moved in, and we would expect them to.
