About Us
Lynton Hall Care Home provides nursing care in New Malden for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and autism. We also offer planned respite stays.
Qualified nurses are here throughout the day and night. That means conditions can be managed as they change rather than dealt with as emergencies, medicines are properly reviewed, and people who would otherwise move back and forth to hospital can usually be cared for here by staff who already know them. For people nearing the end of life, it means comfort and familiar faces.
Nursing on its own would not make this a good place to live, so we work hard at everything else. Residents decide when to get up and how to spend the day, meals are meant to be enjoyed, and relatives are welcome whenever they want to come. For residents living with dementia we keep the day familiar and the pace gentle. Where somebody communicates in their own way, we learn it, and where somebody needs the day to be predictable we keep it predictable and prepare properly for changes.
Respite stays give family carers a genuine break and support people who need nursing care for a period before going home.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
