About Us
Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home is in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight. We provide both nursing and residential care for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia or with mental ill health, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. We also offer respite stays.
Offering nursing and residential care in one place means that when somebody's health changes, they usually do not have to move somewhere new to get the care they need. On an island, where a move can also mean distance from family, that continuity matters even more.
The day belongs to our residents. People get up when they wake, eat what they enjoy and spend their time as they wish. Our nurses and carers work closely together, and we keep in regular contact with GPs and community teams so that changes in health are noticed early.
For people living with dementia and for those living with mental ill health, what helps most is a settled environment and staff who know them well, so we work hard to keep our team stable.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
