About Us
Ticehurst Care Home With Nursing is in Aldershot, Hampshire. Because we have qualified nurses on duty, we can care for people whose health needs are beyond what a residential home can safely manage, and we can usually continue caring for someone as their needs increase rather than asking them to move again. We care for older people who need nursing support, including many living with dementia, and we also support some younger adults whose needs are met well here. We offer respite stays too, for people who need nursing care for a limited period or whose family carer needs a proper break. Clinically we concentrate on what makes the greatest difference: medication given correctly, skin care, nutrition and hydration, pain managed properly, safe moving and handling, and noticing early when somebody's condition is changing. We work closely with the GP practice and the community health teams who support us. The rest of it matters just as much. People have their own rooms and their own belongings, they choose when to get up and what to eat, and they can have company or quiet as they prefer. Families visit at any reasonable hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking into nursing care in the Aldershot area, please come and see us.
