About Us
Meadows House Residential and Nursing Home is in Greenwich, south east London, caring for older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment.
We provide both residential and nursing care, which means people can often stay with us as their needs change rather than moving again at the point when another move is least welcome.
The clinical work is substantial and done properly. Medication, wound care, mobility, continence, nutrition and complex long term conditions all need attention, accurate records and close work with GPs and community health teams. Around it runs the ordinary business of living somewhere, which means meals worth eating, company, fresh air, visitors made welcome at hours that suit them, and staff who notice when a resident has gone quiet this week.
Respite stays are available, including for people recovering after a hospital admission.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and families are welcome to visit on an ordinary day.
