About Stepping Stones Red Marley
We are a nursing home near Gloucester, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with daily life. Those we look after include older people, younger adults, adults with a learning disability or autism, and people living with a mental health condition. Nurses are on duty at all hours. Caring well for such a mixed group means treating everybody as an individual rather than running a single routine for the whole house. For one person that means clinical care given carefully and without fuss. For another it means a predictable day, a quiet space, and staff who know exactly what helps when things become difficult. We plan for each person and we review those plans with them and with their families. A home should be somewhere people are asked, not managed. When to get up, what to eat, what to do with the afternoon, who to see. Nursing needs do not remove any of those choices, and we work hard to make sure they are not quietly lost. Respite and short stays are available as well as permanent places. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated the home Good. If you are considering nursing care in Gloucestershire, please contact us and arrange to come and see us.
