About Ashridge Court Care Centre
Ashridge Court Care Centre is a nursing home in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex. We care for adults who need registered nursing as well as help with daily life, including older people, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment. We also support younger adults whose health needs call for nursing care. Having nurses on duty at every hour is the practical reason most people come to us. It allows us to manage complex medication, pressure and skin care, continence, mobility and the steady monitoring that catches problems while they are still small. Where somebody is approaching the end of their life, it allows us to keep them comfortable among people who know them. A nursing home can slip very easily into doing things to people all day long, and we work against that. Residents decide when they get up, what they eat, whether they join in and who they see. For people living with dementia we keep the day familiar and the staff group as consistent as we can, and we learn about the person's earlier life because it explains so much. Bexhill is a good place to be by the sea, and we get people out into it where they want to go. Respite and short stays are available, including recovery after hospital. Please ring to arrange a visit.
