About Us
At Belvedere House Care Home, we provide nursing care for people living in and around Chesterfield, Derbyshire. We are a nursing home that supports older adults, people living with dementia, those with physical disabilities, and individuals with visual or hearing impairments. We also welcome younger adults and offer respite care for those who need a short term stay while they recover, or to give family carers a much needed break.
Our team works hard to make sure that everyone who comes through our doors feels comfortable and genuinely at home. We take time to get to know each person, understanding what matters to them day to day and building care around their individual needs rather than fitting people into a routine that suits us. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay or making Belvedere House their permanent home, we want them to feel that they belong here.
Nursing care sits at the heart of what we do. Our nursing staff are on hand around the clock, meaning that people with complex or changing health needs can be supported safely and with confidence. For those living with dementia, we think carefully about how the environment and daily life can be shaped to reduce anxiety and support familiarity and wellbeing.
We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as good, and we see that as recognition of the everyday work our team puts in rather than a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can do things better.
If you are looking for nursing care in the Chesterfield area, whether for yourself or someone close to you, we would welcome the chance to talk through what we can offer. Please do get in touch and we will do our best to help.
