About Us
Here at Yohden Hall Care Complex, we provide nursing home care for people in Hartlepool and the wider County Durham area. Our team works across a broad range of specialisms, supporting older people, those living with dementia, individuals with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability, and younger adults who need care and support. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether planned or at short notice.
We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. From the moment someone comes through our doors, whether as a resident or a visitor, we want them to feel genuinely welcomed and at ease. Care is personal, and we try to treat it that way, taking time to understand each person, what matters to them, and how they want to live their daily life.
Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we want to be straightforward about that. We have taken the findings seriously and have been working through the areas identified, making changes and monitoring progress carefully. We believe in being honest with the people we support and their families, and that includes being open about where we have needed to do better.
Nursing care sits at the heart of what we do here, and our clinical team works closely alongside care staff to make sure that health needs are met promptly and with attention to detail. For those living with dementia, we aim to create an environment that feels calm and familiar, built around routine and reassurance.
We are committed to continuing to improve, and we welcome anyone who would like to come and see us in person.
