About Us
We are Aaron Court Care Home, a nursing home in South Wirral, in Cheshire West and Chester. Because we are registered for nursing care, we are able to look after people whose health needs are more complex than a residential home can safely meet, with qualified nurses on hand alongside our care team.
Many of the people we support are older adults who need help with everyday personal care as well as ongoing clinical attention, and we work closely with district nurses, GPs and hospital teams so that treatment is joined up rather than fragmented. We also care for younger adults whose conditions require nursing support, and we are conscious that their interests, routines and social lives are different from those of our older residents, so we plan their support accordingly rather than fitting everyone into the same pattern.
Dementia care is a significant part of what we do. We take time to learn how each person likes to be approached, what reassures them and what unsettles them, and we share that knowledge across the team so the response is consistent whoever is on duty. We also offer respite stays for families who need a planned break or extra support after a hospital discharge.
Anyone considering a move here is welcome to visit, ask difficult questions and see the home as it really is on an ordinary day.
