About Us
Hallmark Midford Manor is a nursing home in Bath, providing nursing and residential care to older adults and to some younger adults, with respite stays available.
Having qualified nurses on duty at all hours means that changes in somebody's health are dealt with here, by people who already know the resident, rather than through a hospital admission that frail or confused people so often find distressing and from which they frequently return weaker. Being able to meet a rising level of need without asking anyone to move on again matters a great deal to residents and to their families.
We support people living with dementia and people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment. For sensory impairment the practical detail counts: good lighting, clear contrast, sitting where your face can be seen, and taking the time to be understood rather than moving on. For dementia, familiarity and a routine that holds its shape achieve more than anything else we could offer.
Around the clinical care there has to be a life worth having, and that is what people are actually here for. Food worth looking forward to, visitors made welcome, fresh air, something to do, and a genuine say in the day.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good.
Anyone considering a move for themselves or a relative is welcome to visit and form their own impression.
