About Us
At Advantage Health & Social Care, we provide home care support to people living in Stourport on Severn and the surrounding areas of Worcestershire. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Our aim is straightforward: to help people live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes.
We know that inviting someone into your home to provide care is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. We try to match people with carers who suit their needs and preferences, and we work hard to ensure continuity so that familiar faces become the norm rather than the exception.
Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in a "requires improvement" rating, and we want to be open about that. We have taken the findings seriously and are actively working through the changes needed to put things right. We believe in being honest with the people we support and their families, and that means acknowledging where we have fallen short and showing through our actions that we are committed to improving.
Home care is not one size fits all. Some people need a short visit each day to help with medication or personal care, while others require more regular support throughout the week. We try to be flexible and responsive as needs change over time, and we work alongside families, social workers, and health professionals to make sure care plans reflect what actually matters to each person.
If you would like to talk to us about care for yourself or a loved one, we would welcome the conversation. We are based locally and understand the community we work within.
