We are Excalibur, based in Redditch, and we provide care and support in people's own homes across Worcestershire. We support older people, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, and younger adults. Our work divides roughly into two kinds. For older people it is usually about reliable help at the difficult points of the day, so that somebody can carry on living in their own home rather than moving somewhere unfamiliar. Support is planned with the person, in their own words, alongside family and professionals where they want them involved, and we review it as circumstances change rather than leaving a plan to go stale.
