It calls for consistency above all, and for staff who understand that a difficult day is not a setback to be reported but simply part of how recovery tends to go. We aim to be steady, and to be there on the harder days as well as the easy ones. We agree what support looks like with the person themselves, review it honestly, and change it when it is not working. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission.
