About Vincentian Care Plus

Vincentian Care Plus supports people in their own homes across Westminster and the neighbouring parts of central London. Our work is mainly with older adults who want to stay in the home they know rather than move, and with younger adults whose support needs have nothing to do with age. We are careful not to run the two together. What an older woman wants from a morning visit is rarely what a younger man wants from his, and treating everyone to the same script is how home care starts to feel like a process rather than help. Central London brings its own difficulties. Flats above shops, lifts that fail, stairs that were fine twenty years ago, neighbours who have never met, and households where somebody can be genuinely alone for days. We plan around the building and the street as they actually are. Visits can be short and frequent or long and occasional, and cover washing and dressing, medicines, meals, housework, shopping, appointments and company. We try to send the same small group of workers to each person, because being recognised at the door matters more than anything we could write in a policy. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are arranging care for yourself or for a relative, ring us. We will come out, listen, and tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
