About Us
We are the Southside Partnership, providing care and support to adults in their own homes across Wandsworth and the surrounding parts of London.
Our work is with adults who have learning disabilities and autistic adults, with people living with mental health conditions, and with people who have physical disabilities. The point of what we do is not to take charge of somebody's life but to make the life they want workable, so we begin with what a person wants their week to look like and work back to the support that would make it possible.
In practice that might mean help with personal care, medication, cooking, shopping, managing money and appointments, or support to get to work, college, a gym or a regular group. Where change is difficult for somebody, we keep to a predictable routine and prepare properly for anything out of the ordinary. In a part of London as varied as this one we also pay attention to language, faith and food as a matter of course.
