About The Place Care
The Place Care provides support in people's own homes across Waltham Forest and the surrounding parts of London. We visit older people and younger adults, with packages ranging from a single daily call to substantial support built around complex needs. The range of people we work with is wide. It includes people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions including eating disorders, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Supporting that range means assessing each person properly and never assuming that a diagnosis tells us what someone wants. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping and household tasks, and often company as well. Where someone is working towards greater independence, the plan is built for that rather than quietly doing everything for them. Continuity of carer is something we schedule for, not something we hope for. Carers are trained for the needs of the people they visit and supervised properly once they are in post, and we keep families informed when something changes. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. If you would like to discuss care at home, please contact us. We will visit, listen and tell you honestly what we can offer.
