About Us
Olive Homecare and Support provides care in people's own homes in London, in and around the borough of Waltham Forest. Our purpose is to make staying at home a workable option, so that people keep their own surroundings, their own routine and their own say over the day.
Much of our work is with older adults. That might be a short visit to help with getting up, washing, dressing and medication, help with meals, shopping and keeping the house in order, or longer calls for people who need closer support and a bit of company through the day. We ask what somebody actually wants rather than offering a package for them to fit into.
We also support people living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship, a routine that can be relied upon and staff who notice when things are shifting matter more than anything else we could provide. We support younger adults too, whose weeks are usually built around work, study, family or their own plans, and whose support should fit around those things.
We keep the group of workers visiting each person as small as we can, because familiarity is what allows people to relax in their own home.
