About Registered Office
We are a home care agency based in Ossett, and we support adults in their own homes across the Wakefield district. Our work is domiciliary care in the plainest sense: we come to you, at times that suit your day, and we do what is needed so that living at home stays realistic. Much of what we do is for people with physical disabilities. That means we spend real time on the practical detail, because the detail is what decides how much independence somebody actually has. We think about equipment, hoists, transfers, seating, positioning and access, we make sure our care workers are trained in the methods a particular person needs, and we review all of it as circumstances change. Where somebody wants to do a task themselves, more slowly, we let them, and we are there for the parts they cannot manage. Everything starts with a visit and a conversation at home, with whoever the person wants present. The plan is written with them, it records how they prefer to be assisted and not only what needs doing, and it is revisited properly rather than filed away. Our care workers are recruited with full checks and trained before working alone. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us to talk it through.
