About Heather Care
Heather Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Trafford, Manchester. Our work is built around the life somebody already has, and the aim is to support it rather than reorganise it for our convenience. We support older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house, and people living with dementia, where familiarity and an unhurried manner are worth more than anything else we could offer. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where the point is to build confidence and skills at the individual's own pace, and with people who have physical disabilities, helping with washing, dressing, mobility and getting out into the world while leaving the person deciding how things are done. We support people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we announce ourselves, speak and explain what we are about to do, and younger adults, whose care is planned around work, study, family and independence. We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as the rota allows, because trust is built through familiarity. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch and ask us anything you need to know.
