About Us
Waterwell Care is a home care agency supporting people in their own homes across Telford and Wrekin. We work with older people who want to stay independent, adults managing a mental health condition, and younger adults who need practical support to live the life they want.
Good home care is mostly about the details, so that is where we start. Before any visits begin we sit down with the person and agree what help is actually wanted, at what times and in what way. Some people need a short morning call to get the day going safely. Others want support several times a day with personal care, medication, meals, shopping or simply someone to talk to. We write the plan in plain language and we change it when circumstances change.
We keep the team around each person small. Familiarity matters, particularly for anyone managing a mental health condition, and it also means our carers notice when something is different and can raise it early. Staff are trained for the needs they will meet and there is always someone contactable if a family has a concern.
We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that openly. We are glad to talk you through how we recruit, train and supervise our carers and how we check the quality of our own work.
