About Us
We are a home care agency in Telford, visiting people in their own homes across Telford and Wrekin. We support older adults and younger adults, and the shape of our help varies a great deal from one person to the next.
For some it is a single call in the morning to get the day started safely: help washing and dressing, breakfast, a reminder about tablets, a quick look round to check all is well. For others it is several visits a day. What does not vary is that we are in somebody else's home as a guest, and we behave accordingly. We knock and wait, we ask before moving anything, and we do not rearrange a person's home to suit the way we would prefer to work.
Before we start we sit down with the person and agree what the support should cover and how they like things done. We write it down, share it with the carers who will be calling, and revisit it properly when things change rather than adding bits on.
We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so plainly. Families are welcome to ask us anything about how we recruit, train and check the people we send, and to meet them before any care begins.
