About Us
Hanshua Healthcare is a home care agency supporting people across Telford in their own homes. We arrange visits around existing routines rather than around a timetable that suits us, and we work hard to keep the same carers with the same people.
We support older people who need help with the everyday tasks that have become harder, personal care, medication, meals, shopping and getting out of the house. We support people living with dementia, where familiarity and patience are worth more than anything else we could put in place. We also work with adults living with a physical disability, where the aim is usually practical independence rather than doing things for someone, and with younger adults, whose expectations of home care are often quite different and reasonably so.
We take a fairly plain view of what makes home care good. Does the carer arrive when we said. Do they stay the full visit. Do they know the person well enough to notice that something has changed. Those are the standards we hold ourselves to.
