About Us
Brockton Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Newport and across Telford and Wrekin. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience covers dementia, learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, sensory loss, and support for people affected by alcohol or drug misuse.
Support is agreed at home with the person and whoever they want involved. It might be a short daily call for personal care and medication, several visits through the day for meals, company and supervision, or support focused less on the body than on keeping a life together: appointments kept, money managed, a routine that holds when things are difficult.
We need to be straight about our standing. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We accepted what was found. Since then we have strengthened supervision and training, tightened how visits, medicines and records are managed and checked, and increased how closely senior staff look at the care actually being given rather than the care written down. That work continues and we will not claim it is complete.
We would rather tell you this ourselves and answer questions openly than have you learn it elsewhere. If you are considering support at home, ask us anything, including the uncomfortable questions about reliability and continuity. Those are fair questions and we would rather answer them now than later.
