About Us
We provide care in people's own homes across Sunderland. Our work is to give people enough support to keep living in their own houses, delivered reliably and by carers they recognise.
Most of the people we visit are older and want help with the practical business of the day: washing and dressing, getting breakfast, taking medication properly, keeping on top of the house and getting out to appointments or the shops. We support people living with dementia, where a familiar carer and a predictable routine can decide how a day goes, along with people who have a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, and younger adults needing support to live independently.
Our carers live locally, which keeps travel sensible and timekeeping honest. It also means they often know the streets and neighbourhoods people have lived in for decades, and that makes conversation easier and the whole arrangement less formal.
Care begins with a home visit and an unhurried conversation about what would genuinely help. We build the plan around the routine that already exists rather than replacing it, and we review it as things change.
If you are considering support at home in Sunderland, please ring and we will talk it through.
