About Deckchair Care

Deckchair Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Cheadle and the surrounding parts of Stockport. Our work is built around the life somebody already has, and the aim is to support it rather than reorganise it for our convenience. We support older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house, and people living with dementia, where familiarity and an unhurried manner are worth more than anything else we could offer. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where the point is to build confidence and skills at the individual's own pace, and with people living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship and early attention to changes make the greatest difference.
