About Spring Meadow
We provide support at home and in supported living near Wolverhampton, working with adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with physical disabilities, people with loss of sight or hearing and younger adults. Supported living means the house or flat belongs to the person rather than to us. We come in to help with whatever makes living there possible, and the aim is always that somebody runs their own life as far as they are able to. In practice that means the unglamorous things that make independence real: managing a tenancy, dealing with letters and bills, handling money, shopping and cooking, keeping appointments, getting to work, college or wherever a person wants to spend their time, and having staff alongside when something feels beyond facing alone. Where somebody also needs help with personal care, mobility or health appointments, we give it without taking over more of the task than is necessary. Keeping what a person can do for themselves matters as much as helping with the rest. Short breaks are available as well as longer arrangements. Consistency of staff counts for a great deal, particularly for autistic people, so we keep our teams as settled as we can and explain changes before they happen. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are glad to discuss that openly. If you are looking for support of this kind, please get in touch.
