About Us

Care Cover 24/7 provides care and support in people's own homes in Wolverhampton and the surrounding parts of Staffordshire. We support older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with physical disabilities and younger adults living independently. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Reliability is the whole foundation of home care. If a call is late, a person sits waiting, medication slips and confidence drains away. So we plan rounds carefully, keep them geographically sensible and make sure there is proper cover for sickness and holidays rather than leaving people to hope for the best. The support itself is agreed with the person. It might be help with washing and dressing, prompting or administering medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, or getting out to see people. For some of the people we support, particularly younger adults and those with learning disabilities, our role is more about building confidence and independence than doing things for them. Carers complete their training before working alone, and senior colleagues visit, review and supervise regularly. We keep families informed and we tell them promptly when something has not gone as planned.
