About Us

We are Phoenix Healthcare, a home care agency supporting adults in Tamworth and the surrounding part of Staffordshire. We provide care and support in people's own homes.

The range of people we work with is broad. Older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, younger adults, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. Those are genuinely different kinds of work and we would rather say so than claim one approach covers them all. What they share is that the plan gets built with the person rather than handed to them.

In practice our visits might cover personal care, support with medication, meals, help around the house, getting out, and company. Some people need a brief call once a day and others need us several times.

Continuity matters more than almost anything else in this work, particularly where trust has taken time to build. So we try to keep the same small group of workers going to the same person, and we keep to the times we have agreed.
