About Us

Diversity Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Tamworth and across Staffordshire. We are a home care agency, so we come to you and build support around the life you already have.

The people we visit are a varied group. Older people who need help with washing, dressing, medication, meals and the running of the house. People living with dementia, supported by a small and familiar team so that a recognisable face arrives rather than a stranger. Adults with learning disabilities and autism, and younger adults who want help fitted around work, study or family life. People living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss.

Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what somebody wants help with, what they would rather keep doing for themselves and what a good day actually looks like for them. Where a person communicates in a particular way, our staff learn it before the first visit rather than working it out afterwards. Where families are closely involved, we keep them informed without talking over the person in the middle.
