About Us
Auxiliary First Care supports people in their own homes across Stoke on Trent and the surrounding parts of Staffordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia or a mental health condition, people with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability, and people with a visual or hearing impairment.
That range means we cannot work from a single template. We sit down at the start, work out what would genuinely make a difference to the person in front of us, and build the support around that rather than around what is easiest to staff.
Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or into town. For some people the visit is as much about company and a steady routine as it is about tasks, and we say so openly, because that kind of support is often what holds everything else together.
We keep teams small and consistent. Nobody should have to explain their own routine to a different face every week, and a familiar carer spots a change early enough for it to matter.
