About Us
We are the Stafford branch of Profad Care Agency, supporting older people and younger adults in their own homes across Stafford and the surrounding parts of Staffordshire.
Our work is home care in the plainest sense. We visit people where they live and help with the things that have become difficult, so that moving into a care setting does not become the only option. That might mean support with washing and dressing at the start of the day, help with medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, or a call in the evening to help somebody settle safely.
We take the practical side seriously. Turning up when we said we would, staying for the time that was agreed, and sending someone the person already knows are not extras. They are the whole basis of whether home care works. Where the rota allows, we keep the same carers with the same people, and we tell families when that has to change rather than leaving them to discover it.
Before support starts we visit and talk things through, agree a plan with the person, and involve family where that is wanted. We review the plan as circumstances change and we work with GPs, district nurses and social workers where they are involved.
