About Multi-Care

Sandwell Multi Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Tipton and across Sandwell, working mainly with adults who have a learning disability or autism and adults with physical disabilities. Our approach is to build support around the individual rather than to offer a fixed package. What helps most, in our experience, is communication pitched to suit the person, a routine that can be relied upon and support that builds skills instead of quietly replacing them. We take time to understand how somebody prefers to be approached and what they are trying to tell us, including when that is not put into words. For people with physical disabilities we help with personal care, mobility and getting out into the world, and we do it in a way that leaves the person deciding how things are done. Practically, our support can include help with personal care, medication, meals, managing a household, appointments and taking part in ordinary life outside the front door. Where somebody has a goal of their own, we plan support that draws back steadily as their confidence grows. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us and ask in detail how we would approach things.
