About Three Sisters Community Care LLP

Three Sisters Community Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Oldbury and across the Sandwell area. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults. Support belongs to the person receiving it. It is their home, their routine and their decision how help happens, and we fit around that rather than expecting the reverse. We visit first and take our time over the conversation, because what families assume is difficult and what the person finds difficult are often not the same thing. From that conversation we agree a plan, with family or an advocate involved whenever somebody wants them there, and we revise it as circumstances change rather than at fixed review dates. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting out to appointments, work, college or something sociable, and company. For autistic people and people with learning disabilities we give notice of change well in advance and learn how each person prefers to communicate. For people living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at their pace. We keep the team around each household small, because being helped by somebody who already knows you is most of what makes this work.
