About Us

Yourlife in Oakham provides care and support for people living in their own apartments here, with staff on site rather than travelling between visits. That makes a real difference, because help can be there when it is needed rather than only at a planned time.

For older people we help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out and about, and we keep an eye on the wider picture, raising changes in appetite, mood or steadiness early rather than waiting to be asked.

For people living with dementia we keep familiar faces involved, work with the routine that already suits the person and avoid unnecessary change. For people with a physical disability we help with moving safely and with managing as independently as possible, and where somebody has sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and take care not to move things without saying so.
