About Us
Qualitcare provides care and support to people in their own homes across Portsmouth. We take on a broad range of work, because people's circumstances rarely fall into neat categories and nobody should be turned away for having a complicated situation.
We support older adults with personal care, medication, meals and the practical tasks of the week. We support people living with dementia, where familiar carers and steady routines do most of the good. We also work with adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people living with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment, adults managing mental health conditions, people affected by eating disorders, and younger adults building independent lives.
Every arrangement begins with an honest conversation about what would genuinely help. The plan is agreed with the person, involves family or an advocate where that is wanted, and is reviewed as circumstances change. Wherever we can, we keep the same carers visiting the same households, because knowing somebody well is what allows a carer to notice when something is different.
Our staff are checked before they begin, trained for the tasks they carry out and supported by managers who can be reached when advice is needed.
