About Us

We provide live in care across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Those we support include older adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults.

Live in care asks something unusual of everybody. A carer shares somebody's home and the person shares their home with a carer, and no amount of competence makes up for getting that match wrong. So we spend a great deal of time on it: temperament, pace, interests, how much conversation somebody actually wants, whether they would rather have company in the evening or the television to themselves.

For people living with dementia, having the same person there through the day is one of the few arrangements that genuinely reduces distress, because the face and the routine both stay constant. That is often why families come to us.
