About Newcastle

We are a home care agency working across North Tyneside and the wider Newcastle area, supporting people living with mental ill health and younger adults in their own homes. Mental health support at home looks different from ordinary personal care. Often the most useful thing is simply reliability. Somebody who turns up when they said they would, who knows the person, who does not make a fuss on a bad day and does not disappear on a good one. Alongside that we help with medication, appointments, paperwork, shopping and the practical business of keeping a household going. For younger adults, our work is usually about making an ordinary week workable. Getting to college, work or activities. Managing money. Keeping up with family and friends. Having somebody dependable in the background. Support is planned around what each person wants to be able to do rather than around risk alone. Where somebody needs a great deal of help, we still look for the parts they can take on, because independence slips away quietly unless it is protected. We work closely with community mental health teams and raise concerns early rather than waiting for a review. Please get in touch if you would like to talk things through.
