About Us

Northants Community Care provides support in people's own homes in Wellingborough and across North Northamptonshire. We arrange anything from a single short visit each day to several calls and longer periods of support, and we build it around the household rather than asking the household to fit around us.

For older people we help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see friends. We also watch for the small changes that matter and raise them early with the family or the doctor.

For people living with dementia we keep the same faces visiting where the rota allows, work with the routine that already exists and leave the home as the person knows it. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, where the focus is usually independence and communication that suits the person, and adults with mental health needs, where turning up reliably is the most useful thing we do. For people with a physical disability we help with safe moving and managing at home, and where somebody has sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and say clearly who we are.

Younger adults are supported around work, study and family life. Our care workers are trained for the people they visit, and we are honest about what we cannot safely take on. Please ring us to talk it through.
