About Us

Dunamis Social Care provides support to people in their own homes across Wellingborough and North Northamptonshire. We work with adults living with dementia, people managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments and people living with eating disorders.

Our aim is to make staying at home genuinely workable rather than merely possible. That means visits planned around a person's actual routine, help with personal care, medication, meals, mobility and the practical tasks that quietly become difficult, and staff who notice when something has changed.

Where we support someone with an eating disorder or significant mental ill health, we work to the plan set by the clinical team involved and we do not improvise around it. Consistency between everyone supporting a person is often the most useful thing a home care provider can offer.

We should be open about our last inspection. The Care Quality Commission rated us as requires improvement. We are working through the findings directly, with tighter oversight of care records and medication, more structured supervision and training for our staff and clearer checks that what we plan is what actually happens at the door. We would rather set that out plainly than have families learn it elsewhere.
