About Us
Becks Homecare supports people in their own homes in Wellingborough and the surrounding area. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia or mental ill health, with people who have physical disabilities, and with adults who have a learning disability or are autistic.
Most people contact us because daily life has become harder to manage and they would much rather stay where they are than move. What makes that possible varies from one house to the next. It can be a short call in the morning for washing, dressing and breakfast, several visits across the day, support with medication, help getting out to appointments, or a longer visit that gives a family carer a genuine break.
We meet the person before anything starts, agree what will actually help rather than what is easiest to arrange, and put it in plain writing. When needs change, the plan changes too.
Where somebody communicates differently, whether because of dementia, a learning disability or autism, we take the trouble to learn how before we begin. That is usually the difference between support that works and support that annoys everybody involved.
