About Us

We are The Care Bureau, and this is our domiciliary and nursing team covering Kettering and the surrounding parts of Northamptonshire. We support adults in their own homes, from a single short call each day through to several visits daily and longer periods of support. Our work covers older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, shopping and getting out and about, and adults living with dementia, where familiarity and continuity do most of the work. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. Because we have nursing expertise available, we can also support people whose needs at home have a clinical element to them. Every package begins with a proper conversation at home, with the person and whoever they want present, and we write down what matters to them as well as what tasks need doing. We plan our rounds so that calls arrive at sensible times, and we keep the same care workers with the same households wherever the rota allows.
