We do not believe in arriving with a checklist. We sit down first, with the person and anyone they want present, agree what is needed and write it down in plain words, then review it as things change. We are also straightforward when we think somebody needs more support than care at home can safely give. Consistency is what makes home care work, so we send the same carers wherever we can, we arrive when we say we will, and we ring if we are running behind. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are registered with them and work to their standards, and we are happy to talk through how we check our own quality.
