About JAAN Services

JAAN is a home care agency based in Corby, supporting adults across north Northamptonshire in their own homes. We work with older people, with people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, with people managing mental health conditions, with people who have physical disabilities and with people living with sight or hearing loss. We also support younger adults, whose care has to fit around employment, study and family life rather than taking the place of it. Before anything begins we come out and talk. We want to know how a household already works, what somebody wants help with and what they would rather carry on doing for themselves. Independence handed over unnecessarily is very hard to get back, and a good care plan protects it rather than quietly eroding it. After that, it comes down to the unglamorous parts. Arriving when we said we would. Sending carers who know the household. Recording things properly so the next visit does not start from nothing.
