About Us

We are a home care agency based in Scunthorpe, supporting people in their own homes across North Lincolnshire. We visit older people, including many living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss.

Most people would far rather stay where they are, and whether that works usually comes down to practical detail. Somebody unsteady on their feet may need help at the beginning and end of the day. Somebody living with dementia often needs prompting, company and a routine that holds its shape more than they need jobs done for them. Somebody just home from hospital may need a good deal at first and much less within a month. We set the support where it is genuinely needed and we are willing to reduce it when it is no longer required.

Where sight or hearing loss is part of the picture, how we approach a person, announce ourselves and allow time for a reply makes a real difference, and we expect our carers to make those adjustments as a matter of habit.
