About Us

We are Hales Group in Swaffham, a home care agency supporting people across this part of Norfolk in their own homes. Our work covers a broad range of needs, and we plan each person's support around their own routines rather than around a standard schedule.

We support older people with personal care, medication, meals and getting out safely, and people living with dementia, where a familiar face and an unhurried manner matter more than anything on paper. We work with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. We also support younger adults, people living with eating disorders and people in recovery from alcohol or drug misuse, and we do that work without judgement.

Covering a rural area brings its own difficulties, and we would rather be honest about travel and timings than make promises we cannot keep. What we will do is tell you if a visit is going to be late rather than leaving someone watching the clock.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We take that as a baseline rather than an achievement. If you are considering care at home in this area, ring us and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot offer.
