We are Approvez Medicare Newham, a home care agency supporting people in their own homes across the London Borough of Newham. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, and people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment. With that spread of needs there is no standard arrangement to offer. Our first conversation is about the person's ordinary day, what has become difficult and what they want to keep managing themselves, and the support is built from those answers and revisited as circumstances change.
