About Us
We are Value Health Care, based in Merton, south London, and we provide care in people's own homes across the borough. The people we visit are a broad group: older people, many living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, and people living with an eating disorder.
That range means a standard package would be no use, so we do not offer one. Every arrangement begins with a conversation in the person's own home about how the day actually runs, what has become difficult, what somebody still wants to manage alone and what would make the biggest difference. From there we set the visits and revise them as circumstances move.
Support might be help with washing and dressing, a prompt and a check with medication, a meal cooked and eaten with company, help getting safely about the home, support to get out into the community, or several calls a day. Alongside personal care we can help with the practical upkeep of a home, which for some people is the thing that has slipped furthest and worries them most.
London can be isolating as well as convenient, and for some of the people we visit our carer is the main person they see in a day. We take that seriously.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Ring us if you would like to talk it through.
