About Merseyside Supported Living

We provide supported living and care in people's own homes across Liverpool and Merseyside. The people we support include older people, those living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Younger adults form a large part of our work. Supported living differs from a care home in an important way. The tenancy and the life belong to the person. We are there to make that life workable, not to run it. In practice that means help with cooking, shopping and managing a household, somebody alongside you where a place or an appointment would otherwise be too much, and support to keep work or study going. We aim for consistency of staff above almost everything else, because trust in this work is built slowly and undone quickly.
